KTO Karatay University has adopted the principle of fostering well-equipped youth to meet the needs of the city, region, and country. The university offers more than 40 programs including exceptional departments like Pilot Training, Economics and Finance, Energy Management, Communication Design and Management, Insurance and Social Security as well as International Trade and Logistics.
International students are accepted to all our Associate and bachelor degree programs in two methods: Tuition Fee Paying Students and Scholarship Students
Tuition Fee Paying Students:
Students who are not looking for a 100% or 50 scholarship are welcome to apply with their high school diplomas and letter of accreditation showing that the high school training received abroad is equivalent to the Turkish system. These students have to prove that their high school success level is at least 60%.
Required Documents for Enrollment; applicants who are entitled to enroll in the university must submit the following documents:
1.The original copy of your high school diploma / English or Turkish copy, notarized or certified by the Turkish authorities.
2.Certificate of equivalence for your high school diploma (from the Republic of Turkey Ministry of National Education – Turkish Education Board or Turkish authorities in your country).
3.Criminal record. English or Turkish copy, notarized or certified by the Turkish authorities.
4.An official transcript, approved by your high school administration, showing the courses and grades you took in high school. Turkish or English copy of the documents, certified by a notary or by Turkish authorities.
5.Copies of the pages of your passport where your photograph and ID information are seen. (Your letter of acceptance will eb sent to you and the nearest Turkish Consulate and/or embassy after you finalize the registration procedures.
6.Passport sized photograph.

To get a scholarship (further to the tuition fee) all international Students are required to take online Scholarship Exam for International Students which will be held at 6 different times this year. Students taking the test are required to get at least 55 over 100. The exams will be held in three languages, Turkish, English, and Arabic. The scholarships are for tuition fees only and do not cover accommodation, course books, meal plans, etc.
Scholarships are valid throughout the program as long as the student keeps his/her success rate high which is 2.00/4.00. Getting a lower grade at the end of two semesters successively will result in a cut in the scholarships.
Required Documents to Apply for Online Scholarship Exam:
1.Copy of the high school diploma or certificate showing that the student is the last grade (English or Turkish official translation required)
2.Copy of the high school transcript with the stamp and signature of the high school administration (English or Turkish official translation required)
3.Passport copy
4.Passport size photo
5.Copy of international or national exam result for nationals of countries where students are required to take an obligatory exam after high school
6.Bank receipt showing that the application fee has been paid. The application fee (100₺) can be paid to the Office of Financial Affairs of our university or transferred to the IBAN
